Today's update brings two new features, introducing a new Home Screen Configurator and Kiosk Mode (PRO Feature).

These features are currently available on all Navigator™ 500 using version 1.3 and will shortly be available on the the HMT-1 and HMT-1z1

The Home Screen configurator makes it easy to customize your home screen to match your preferences. You can choose to rearrange apps on the device home screen or add your own range of custom apps for easy access.

Kiosk Mode (PRO Feature) is a great way to use RealWear device if you want your users to only use a specific app. Kiosk Mode operates in two different ways.

1. Always launch the same app on startup but still have the full functionality of the device

2. Lock the device to use only one app. Meaning you can't navigate away from it.

We're excited to announce that we've just released v1.3 firmware for the Navigator™ 500! This update brings with it a number of new features and improvements, including Kiosk Mode, bug fixes, and security patches as well as a new aspect ratio for My Camera and the introduction of three new supported languages - Danish, Norwegian and Turkish.

Kiosk mode is great for users of RealWear devices that want a cut down simple interface that is locked to a single application, allowing focus. It is also great for operational management to lock devices into that mode if they wish. Kiosk Mode is available to all PRO workspaces.

We've also included a number of bug fixes and security patches in this update. We're always working to make our products as secure and stable as possible, and we're grateful for your feedback in helping us identify areas for improvement.

RealWear Cloud has a new feature: the MDM enrollment QR code edit tool. This tool makes it easy to edit your MDM enrollment QR code. You can use it to change the enrollment wireless network name (SSID), and the enrollment password. This tool is available in the RealWear Cloud console under utilities.

This tool works with any enrollment QR code from Microsoft Intune, SOTI, IBM, and others.

RealWear Cloud is constantly evolving, here's what's new this week.

We've updated the how the Cloud Dashboard looks and how your workspace shows inside the platform

General

• Added 'What's new?' - That's this changelog!
  
• Updated the Cloud Dashboard so it is more responsive.
• We've added new notifications popups to the bottom right hand corner, when making a change to your device or group from the platform, you can see what's happening and have the option to undo.
  

New additions to the Sidebar

• Link to Knowledge Base – easily access our knowledge base directly from RealWear Cloud.
  
• Devices Counter – Shows how many devices are registered in RealWear Cloud and how many licenses you have remaining
  
• Trial Days Counter - If you're in a 60-day free trial, you can now see how many days you have left.
  

Dashboard and Top ribbon

• We've removed the Workspace name from dashboard and now show it under the logged in user on the top right.
  
• PRO tag moved from the Dashboard to the top ribbon.
